2. Storage security

During the storage process of batteries, high temperature or poor ventilation will lead to increased self-discharge, so in the storage of batteries, there are certain requirements for the environment:

1. There should be a fixed facade or warehouse (excluding the residence) as a safe storage point of batteries, and the storage area is not less than 25 ㎡;

2. The storage floor shall be concrete floor shall be kept clean and clean without any sundries; the environment shall be well ventilated and dry, and the battery storage position shall be protected from direct sunlight, away from heat source (at least 2m away from heat source), inflammable and explosive products and chemicals, and sunscreen and moisture protection measures;

3, the storage temperature should be controlled at 5℃ ~40℃, more than 40℃ must take effective cooling fan fan cooling or air conditioning measures;

4. When centralized storage of batteries, they should be stacked, and the limit of horizontal and vertical stacking of each pile is 5 columns, with a gap of not less than 20cm between the piles to facilitate heat dissipation of the battery. The number of battery layers is the highest layers according to the carton; it is prohibited to pile items on the battery, especially easily conductive and corrosive items;

5. The battery storage area should be equipped with monitoring and alarm equipment, lighting equipment and fire fighting equipment, and the inspection should be arranged every day to ensure fire safety.
