BYD in the first July of power and energy storage battery installed nearly 90 GWh

On August 1, BYD (002594) released the production and sales express, in July, the sales volume of new energy vehicles reached 342,400 units, another record!

In July, BYD sold 340,799 passenger vehicles, up 30.5 percent from a year earlier. Among them, the company sold a total of 30,014 new energy passenger vehicles overseas in July.

By brands, in July, BYD Auto Dynasty sold 328,178, Denza sold 10,340, Formula Leopard sold 1842 and sold 439.

In the first seven months of this year, BYD's sales of new energy vehicles totaled 1.9554 million units, up 28.83% year on year.

So far, BYD new energy vehicles tired sales of more than 8.3 million vehicles.

In terms of orders, on July 31, BYD announced that it has formed a multi-year strategic partnership with Uber), an international mobile and distribution technology company, to launch 100,000 new BYD electric vehicles in key global markets to further expand the lineup of electric vehicles on the Uber platform.

In terms of batteries, the total installed capacity of BYD's new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries in July was about 16.519GWh, and the cumulative total installed capacity in the first July was about 89.075GWh.

In addition, according to a number of local media reports in Shenzhen, on July 8,2024 Shenzhen Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone Industrial Investment Promotion Conference was held, and a number of new project signing activities were held at the event site. Among them, on the basis of the investment in Shenzhen-Shantou phase I parts and phase II vehicle projects, BYD has increased its investment in phase III projects (battery pack line and new energy vehicle core parts factory), and the annual output value is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan.

It is reported that the third phase of the BYD Shenzhen-Shantou project is expected to invest a total of 6.5 billion yuan, which will be used for the construction of battery PACK production line and new energy vehicle core parts manufacturing plant.
